My Enjoy With Crave Vesper

When selecting sex toys to test, I do a lot of research and mostly try to go for ones that I think I will enjoy using in some way, as I hate the waste of sex toys just sitting around in drawers. However, curiosity and novelty got the better of me here, and I really had to know if you could make a necklace that looked elegant and delivered quality vibrations.

I was skeptical, to say the least. In fact, I was so ready to be disappointed by the Crave Vesper that I even prepared a backup vibrator the first time I tested it!

A pleasant surprise!

I was more than pleasantly surprised by the power packed into such a small vibrator! It definitely took me a minute to figure out to use in a way that felt good and it required a bit more concentration than other vibrators I’ve used, but once I found the right position, it felt pretty amazing and I actually enjoyed the buzzier vibrations. The first time I used the Crave Vesper I had a pretty good orgasm — no backup vibrator needed, which I was not expecting at all! And things only got better, as I used it more and figured out it worked best with my body. I found that the buzzier vibrations are great for drawing out the experience and having a slower build-up or even for edging. One time, I had an orgasm that just seemed to never end! I do find that after one orgasm though, that’s it with the Vesper as the buzziness was quite overwhelming for my clitoris. The extreme pinpoint stimulation was also new territory for me and again, I was surprised by how good it felt! It was also very interesting to figure out exactly where my most sensitive spots are with such precision!

I really like the understated elegance of the design and feel like it would compliment so many different styles, and it looks pretty amazing with some lingerie. It looks best when worn with something low cut or wrap-around, as otherwise, the vibrator sits weirdly on top or bounces around. That being said, you might find, as I did, that after a while the vibrator ends up sandwiched between your boobs. If you have bigger boobs, you will need to decide if that will be annoying for you. I’m not usually one for taking sex toys out of my house, but I feel like the Crave Vesper will be an exception to that rule! I really love how it looks, and the playfulness and sensuality it brings with it.

Design

I love the sleek, elegant design on the Vesper! It combines luxury and minimalism to create a necklace that will suit so many different styles. The only decoration on the Vesper is the small Crave logo on the cap of the vibrator, which looks very tasteful. I have the rose gold version and love the contrast between the two colors. There’s also the option to buy the Vesper in silver, which is a little bit cheaper, or 24kt gold, which is more expensive. Crave also offers the option to have the vibrator engraved, which would make a lovely gift. The only thing I might change about the design is the look/position of the button. It could be nicer to have it on the cap, both for aesthetic reasons and to reduce the chance of accidentally starting the vibrations.

Ease of Use

The Crave Vesper is very easy to control as there is only one button to switch on the vibrations and scroll through the three power levels and one pulsation pattern. Charging is also pretty straightforward — simply unscrew the cap and screw in the charging cable before connecting the USB. Crave does state that you shouldn’t let the battery run down and you should charge the Vesper after use to prevent damage to the battery, so you need to be careful to remember to do this — something I’m not great at!

Quality

The Vesper is very well built and the 316 high polish stainless steel looks and feels amazing. The connection between the cap and the vibrator also feels very well-made. The chain seems good quality too. However, if it does break, you will need to remove the clasp from one end of the chain to replace it as the hole it passes through is very small.

Price

Hmm, it’s very hard to judge the price point for the Crave Vesper — it is, after all, a very unique product! Given it’s a statement piece and it delivers powerful vibrations, I would say it’s a reasonable price. I also feel like Crave has made sure that you get a luxury experience every step of the way with the Vesper. The storage bag is one of the nicest I have ever seen with a sex toy — it’s a lovely little taupe pouch that has a suede-like feeling to it and has two pockets — one for the necklace and one for the charging cable. That being said, I wouldn’t recommend buying the Vesper if it’s going to be your first or only vibrator.

Performance

The Crave Vesper performs very well, especially considering its dual functionality. The vibrations are quiet yet powerful and there’s a definite change of intensity between the three levels. The pulsation setting doesn’t do much for me but that’s just a personal preference. The Vesper comes with a small sticker stating that it is normal for it to get warm during use and while it did heat a little bit, it wasn’t really noticeable as it mostly just feels like has adjusted to your body temperature.

Packaging

I absolutely love the packaging the Crave Vesper comes in! The small white box with the Crave logo is sleek and luxurious, just like the vibrator. It’s also nice and strong, making it great for storing everything in. When you open the box, everything is stored in a smaller card envelope that has a safety seal.

Materials and care

As the Crave Vesper is made from 316 high polish stainless steel and nickel-free, it’s non-toxic and non-porous, which is fantastic! The only downside is that it isn’t waterproof so you have to be careful when cleaning the Vesper. You need to make sure that the cap is screwed on tightly, so no moisture can get inside. Then, you can wipe the vibrator down with a damp cloth and or sex toy wipe. You should also stick to using water-based lubrication and avoid using any silicone lubes.
