Curvy, Crooked, and Crazy: The Tale of My Trip to the (We-Vibe) Rave
I picked out the We-Vibe Rave because I wanted a reliable g-spot vibrator to reach for in those hours of need (the need for urgent g-spot stimulation, that is). It seemed appropriately girthy for my taste and the curves seemed like a nice touch too!
When I first got the We-Vibe Rave in my hands, I got to examine the shape properly for the first time. It’s hard to capture in pictures, but this vibrator is slightly crooked and tilts to one side, the whole shaft is slightly spiraled, and the bulbousness of the “head” is not quite even. Convinced that this design was truly ergonomic and would fit my internal structure perfectly, I was excited to try it out.
It does provide an easy insertion and it has a good size for my liking. The ergonomic (read: somewhat crooked) design was definitely not easy to get a hang of! Apparently, the subtle spiralled shape was still prominent enough to send the handle spiralling away from me as I tried to maneuvre it towards my sweet spots. As funny as this was at the time, I have not yet found the trick to stop this from happening, and this is not supposed to be rotating toy, after all! Generally, holding the vibrator in place is not super enjoyable for me as keeping good grip can be tricky with lube and the tapered shape of the handle. As much as I appreciated the sheer power of the vibrations and the smooth feel of the silicone, using the We-Wibe Rave definitely came with its challenges!

But I have to say that in this case, although it’s a really great idea, it does not perform well in reality. The design looks and feels really cool initially but any attempt to maneuvre it around during penetration will… well, send it a-spinning! A great quality product but for me the not-so-great performance just lowered the overall score a bit.
